John Byrd – President

John Byrd established Byrd Interior Construction in 1995. As company president, John supervises his talented staff and day to day operations while relying heavily on the company’s experienced group of project managers. With over twenty years of experience, John is able to guide the team of professionals to provide their customers with first class service and quality construction. John enjoys managing and estimating construction projects and is an actively involved business owner. As a native Houstonian who graduated from the University of Texas in Austin, John has developed many long lasting relationships needed to succeed in the construction industry as a general contractor. John started his construction career working for Century Development and Partners Construction Group and later joined Maxwell Company Construction. John has managed many types of projects including corporate interiors, healthcare facilities, industrial, hospitality, computer rooms, common area renovations and retail.

Buddy Leblanc – Vice President

Buddy graduated from Sam Houston State University with a degree in business administration. While putting himself through school, he developed the ability to work through many challenges and developed great problem solving skills. Buddy began his career working for Pioneer in their Architectural Millwork Division before joining Byrd Interior in 1999. Buddy has developed an outstanding client base of loyal customers who trust he will provide them with the best possible construction service. Buddy has experience with corporate interiors, industrial, retail common area renovations and medical facilities including eye care professionals.

Donnie Barr – Vice President

Donnie started his career in the construction business as a carpenter and later became field superintendent. Donnie was the first employee for Byrd Interior and was responsible for all field operations as general superintendent. Promoted to a project management position in 1999, Donnie has the unique ability to manage a project from a superintendent’s perspective. He has extensive computer experience and is accomplished at scheduling the most difficult projects. Donnie has earned an outstanding reputation, providing solutions to challenging details and site conditions, and has a long list of satisfied customers.

Deborah Martin – Project Manager

Deborah joined Byrd Interior Construction in 2003 as an assistant project manager after working for Drake Interiors in the drywall business. Promoted to project manager in 2006, Deborah manages a wide variety of projects serving building owners and management companies. Her ability to manage numerous projects simultaneously, her attention to detail, dedication to her clients and outgoing personality make her a pleasure to work with from the client’s perspective. Deborah has experience with corporate interiors, common area renovations, ADA modifications, light industrial and healthcare facilities.
